The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and
Astronomical Administration or PAGASA already presented the list of names of
the typhoons that will hit the Philippine Area of Responsibility this 2012. The
names of the typhoons are arranged alphabetically as it happens after the
other. Since its June and the start of the rainy season, we are expecting a wet
2012 considering that an average of 20 storms visit the country every year.

Did you know that:
PAGASA deviates from
international typhoon naming standards because it wants to promote better storm
recall by using familiar Filipino names. In 2009, instead of typhoon Parma and Ketsana,
bagyong Pepeng and Ondoy were used.
We already experienced the typhoons Ambo, Buthcoy, Cosme, and Dindo. We must still be ready for another typhoon that will enter to our area of responsibility to keep our self safe and secure,
