The Department of Tourism launched its new slogan to attract visitors to our country with the line “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”. Before "Pilipinas Kay Ganda," the country had the more popular "WoW Philippines" catch phrase as its tourism slogan. The long-awaited tagline was developed by BBDO Guerrero which was personally supervised by DOT Secretary Jimenez and approved by the President and members of the cabinet. Wherever you go in the Philippines, it’s the Filipinos that will make your holiday unforgettable. Just ask anyone who’s been here. In fact, the Lonely Planet Guidebook calls us ‘among the most easygoing and ebullient people anywhere” says Secretary Jimenez.
